The 8th international VDI conference "Autonomous Truck" will take place on March 12-13, 2025, in Düsseldorf. The top topics of the conference include innovations in the field of autonomous driving and the resulting new business models. One of the main focuses will be on new applications in logistics including "last mile delivery" and their impact on the value chain. Discuss the current and future technical, legal and political developments around the central topic of autonomous driving with the industry's leading experts.

Autonomous driving is no longer a future topic in the commercial vehicle sector, but has already arrived on the road today. Driver assistance systems are only the beginning of increasing digitalisation: many manufacturers are testing the possibilities and limits of (partially) autonomous driving trucks within pilot projects. New, innovative market players are increasingly entering the market, especially from the USA and China. Many companies are therefore asking themselves how they can keep pace with these developments.

The focus topics of 2025 include:

  • Drivetrain Solutions for Autonomous Trucks
  • Data handling and data regulations
  • LIDAR and sensor fusion
  • Connectivity, vehicles control and on-board software
  • Digital services for commercial vehicles

If you have any questions about the conference program or would like to attend the conference as a speaker, please contact Annick Braun.
